Hi! I’m Aben,

a husband, dad, associate pastor, theology student, and most importantly, a disciple of Jesus. This space is where I share my story, my reflections, and my journey in discovering the fullness of life that is found in Christ.

My life has been Raised in a Christian home, I wandered for a time, even embracing Islam for a few years, before a life-altering encounter with Jesus in 2009 brought me back to the faith. Since then, my life has been a journey of grace, growth, and a deepening relationship with Him.

Today, I’m blessed to journey this life alongside my amazing wife, Julie, and our lively 2-and-a-half-year-old son, Jeremiah. Together, we’re navigating the joys and challenges of life, faith, and family.

I currently serve as an associate pastor at Capstone Church and am in the thick of pursuing a master’s degree in Practical Theology. This blog is a place to explore what it means to live “in Christ”—to dive into theology, reflect on ministry as a young leader, and share insights and revelations from my journey of faith.
